Bringing Cuteness to the Met Ball: Instagram Star Mayhem Poses in Past Gala Gowns

With followers on Instagram well up their in the six-digit figures, there is one young starlet of social media that is making quite a name for herself. Mayhem is a 4-year-old with sass, vogue like posture, and style. By sporting various red carpet looks, made by construction paper and other craft materials, Mayhem and her mother have taken the social network world by a cuteness storm. She's worn get-ups similar to those of Katy Perry, Disney's Frozen, and Lupita Nyong'o. This time, this photogenic child is showing off her best Met Ball ensembles.

The minute I laid my eyes onto her pictures, I was soon reminded of why I love fashion so much---the fabulous and energetic influence it has on so many. She captures some of the Met Ball's best outfits in the most fun, creative, and adorable of ways!

Instagram Goes Glam: The Social Network to Launch Video Advertisements

Say goodbye to your news feed featuring only photos and videos by groups you follow. Instagram has jumped onto the bandwagon that is the advertisement world and will begin showing video ads on your feed. The first to join Instagram's new movement will be fashion brands Burberry and Levi's.

According to fashionista.com, it is said that the social network is known to be quite picky in choosing a launch partner for any features they consider. However, because the fashion industry thrives on Instagram, due to designers, models, bloggers, make-up artists, hair stylists, fashion photographers, etc. posting often and gaining many followers, the choice to involve Burberry and Levi's makes sense.

Although this will be the first time the network uses video ads on your feed, it is not the first time a brand markets using their platform. Through the direct messaging option, Gap has sent ads. Other big names to come across the small screen include Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, and Michael Kors.

Instagram has begun testing so be prepared to possibly start seeing a pair of Levi's or a famous Burberry trench make its way onto your Insta home. At least it isn't those severely irritating local car dealership commercials. I'm looking at you Autoland.
