Haute Holidays: Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas for Day & Night

It's the most filling time of the year! Yup, that's right! The holiday of eating all you want and not feeling bad about it afterwards, has finally arrived. Thanksgiving may be about giving thanks and eating lots of yummy food, but it's also another chance to dress up and any time to dress up is truly the best time of all!

To show some ensemble options for day and night, blogger of K On the Bay, Kristin Fehrman put together two outfit ideas to help out anyone in need of stylish advice. So check out Kristin's picks and holidays favorites and from K On the Bay and Lucy & Camilla we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving surrounded by love, turkey, and style of course!

Kristin's Thanksgiving Favorites

Favorite Thanksgiving food- Mashed potatoes and gravy

Thankful for... - So hard to pick just one! I'm thankful for so many things right now. Following my dreams, being content where I'm at in life, being grounded. Of course good friends and family, too!

Favorite holiday style item- Little black dresses! I love to dress them both up and down for work, parties, around the house, and for date nights.

If one is preparing for a Thanksgiving get together, all day, and doesn't have time to do hair and make-up, what is your suggestion for a quick fix up before the festivities begin?- Throw up your hair and throw on comfortable yet cute clothes- leggings and a tank or tee, while cooking prior to festivities. You'll easily be able to dress it up if someone happen to swing over- but try and set aside some time to get ready before your guest arrive.

Affordable places to get that signature holiday outfit-  Forever 21, Target, TJ Maxx.
Favorite Thanksgiving tradition- Watching "A Christmas Story" after dinner!

Day Look

Despite the snow, I still am in a summer mood. I bundled up in my favorite navy coat with an anchor top and matching wellies for a casual daytime look with a little sass. Even during the chilly months I love to wear pops of color and incorporate a summer influence in cold weather; for example, pastels and winter whites. This nautical top brightens even a dreary winter day and makes me dream of summer sailing!

Night Look

It's time to start thinking about holiday party attire! I love wearing little black dresses and tights, like this Ya Los Angeles dress from my favorite local boutique, Relish. The sequined detailing is perfect for a special occasion but flirty enough for a night out on the town.
