Fishnets, leather, and bared midriffs oh my! Guess last night was truly the Video Music Awards after all. The VMA's kicked off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, for a night of epic proportions (mostly because of Justin Timberlake's AMAZING performance) and of course before all the "talked about acts hit the stage" there was the Red Carpet. It was actually a toned down year when it came to style at the VMA's, but there were still some ...cough cough Lady Gaga's thong, that really WENT there! Seashell undergarments aside, I was still able to pick out a few looks that I truly adored. Sure, some are a little more Golden Globe glamour than VMA chaos, but I am after all a sucker for long trains and satin any day of the year.
Some of the starlets that were able to mix that perfect amount of Globe and VMA, were Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez. Both their gowns had a chic factor, but brought some sexiness to the ensemble as well, by showing off peek-a-boo bits of skin.
